Message from our president.

Welcome to IAFAI.org, the information portal for the International Association of Filipino Allergists and Immunologists. The humble beginnings of this 501c3 non-profit organization started about 10 years ago in Washington, DC when a group of Filipino allergy/immunology specialists got together and conceived the idea of putting together an organization. What started out as a small social network eventually grew into an international organization comprised of members across the United States and abroad, and now, with Dr's. Rick Tan and Dan Dalan’s hard work, we have a web presence.

The goal of this website is to increase awareness of the IAFAI’s mission and goals, showcase its accomplishments, and increase the organization’s relevance to its members. It also serves as a platform to share the accomplishments of its members, and promote their web presence by providing links to their websites.

We are also proud that we have a discussion group that is open to all Filipino allergy/immunology specialists. This discussion group has allowed us to get back to our beginnings as a “small network”. It has made our community “virtually” smaller and more accessible, allowing us to discuss allergy/immunology-related issues with just keystroke away. Access to this e-group can be requested by sending an email to iafai-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
